Kitty A GoGo was founded in 2003 by designer and former clothing buyer Sandy Strickland and medical design engineer Arieh Halpern. They found the challenge of finding a functional and attractive litter box to place in their home impossible! It seemed so little style and variety was available to cat owners - unlike the dog accessories on the market.

The opportunity of integrating the cat accessory market with the current explosion in the home decor market offers huge possibilities to the retailer. After all, an American Pet Products Association survey numbers feline pets in the United States to be approximately 90.5 million. And, let's face it, the human customers are choosing, looking at, and purchasing animal products for their beloved pets and themselves. They decided to give them something new to rave about!

And so, "banning the litter box blues" became the mission, and the idea of a decorative, whimsical, and functionally innovative cat litter box was born. Working with three industrial design firms in the Southern California area, produced the concept of the "pull-out litter tray drawer" with pull-out sifter rake and interchangeable, decorative hood covers. After research, design, testing, re-design, perfecting and adding the print hood covers - all hand painted - Kitty A GoGo™ was ready to go.

All parts are made of the highest quality injected molded, high impact, stain resistant plastic.
